1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website saves on your device. They help the site work, remember your choices and, if you allow it, show us how people use it. We use similar technologies, such as local storage, in the same way.
2. Cookies we use
- Essential cookies: keep the website secure and working, and remember your cookie choices. They can’t be switched off.
- Analytics cookies: show us which pages people visit and how they find us. We only set them if you click Accept all.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| bf-cookie-choice | Essential · remembers your cookie choices | 12 months |
| __cf_bm | Essential · protects the site from bots | 30 minutes |
| _ga | Analytics · tells visitors apart (Google Analytics) | 2 years |
| _ga_[ID] | Analytics · keeps track of your visit | 2 years |
3. Managing your choices
When you first visit, our cookie banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings button on this page or in the footer.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, some parts of the site, such as the booking form, may not work properly.
4. Third-party services
When you open a property location in Google Maps, it opens in a new tab and Google’s own cookie policy applies there. Booking calendars and property portals we link to also set their own cookies.
5. Changes to this policy
We review this policy whenever we add or remove cookies. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last updated.
